Ceramics Portfolio
A bespoke online portfolio for ceramic artist Jacquelyn Smith. Made through WordPress and custom css.
The Design
Jacquelyn’s ceramics are gorgeous pieces of art that reflect her natural surroundings. I wanted to mimic the sculptures through the website, so that each page would flow effortlessly onto the next while still keeping Jacquelyn’s art as the main focus. The website uses colours from her ceramics, to compliment them and help fit each design into the space it’s shown in.
The Process
WordPress seemed like the best fit for the client as it would allow for custom css, styling, and most importantly ease of use. After the initial batch of projects were uploaded, I taught Jacquelyn how to use the WordPress dashboard to upload future projects. This ensures longevity of the website and future use.
